Fees, in full, on one page
Taskerama charges two fees, both published here and both shown in the product before anyone commits to anything. Nothing else. Customers pay a booking fee only when they hire, from $4.95 to $39.95 by task price, waived by a $49.90 yearly membership. Taskers pay a service fee that starts at 20% plus VAT and falls to 12.5% as their earnings rise, and nothing at all on customers they bring themselves.
These are Taskerama's own fees, correct as at 6 September 2026. Any change is notified to taskers 30 days in advance.
Posters
£4.95+
Free to post and free to compare offers. A booking fee applies only when you hire, based on the task price, and it is on every offer before you accept. A $49.90 yearly membership removes it.
Taskers
20%→12.5%
Plus VAT, deducted at payout so you never pay up front. The rate falls as your 30-day earnings rise. Free to join, free to quote, and we never sell leads.
Your own clients

No commission at all on customers you bring yourself. Just 2.9% + $0.20 processing, with the same payment protection and reviews.
Tasker service fee
Your tier is set by what you earned on the platform in the previous 30 days and by your completion rate over your last 20 assigned tasks. It is recalculated every day and shown on your dashboard, along with exactly what you need to reach the next tier.
| Tier | Earned in the last 30 days | Service fee | Including VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Under $450 | 20% | 24% |
| Silver | $450+ | 18.5% | 22.2% |
| Gold | $1,400+ | 14.9% | 17.88% |
| Platinum | $2,800+ | 12.5% | 15% |
Poster booking fee
Charged once, when you accept an offer. Unlike some marketplaces, we show it on every offer card and on the payment page before you commit, the total you see is the total you pay.
| Task price | Booking fee |
|---|---|
| Under $30 | $4.95 |
| $30, $59.99 | $9.95 |
| $60, $89.99 | $14.95 |
| $90, $119.99 | $19.95 |
| $120, $149.99 | $24.95 |
| $150, $179.99 | $29.95 |
| $180 and over | $39.95 |
A $49.90 annual membership waives the booking fee on every task for a year. It pays for itself at about three tasks a year.

Questions about fees
What does a poster pay?
Posting is free and you pay nothing unless you hire someone. When you accept an offer there is a booking fee based on the task price, from $4.95 on the smallest jobs to $39.95 on jobs over $180. It is shown on every offer before you accept, and a $49.90 yearly membership removes it entirely.
What does a tasker pay?
A service fee on the agreed price, deducted when payment is released. It starts at 20% plus VAT and falls to 12.5% plus VAT as your rolling 30-day earnings rise. There is nothing to pay to join, nothing to make an offer, and no charge for leads.
Why is the tasker fee tiered?
Because a marketplace has to cover the cost of finding a tasker their first customers, and much less cost once they are established. The ladder is published in full below, your current tier is on your dashboard, and it is recalculated daily rather than being a black box.
What about repeat and existing clients?
0% commission. Send your own customer a payment link and we charge no commission at all, just 2.9% + $0.20 to cover card processing and protection. Work you brought stays yours.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No. If either side cancels before the task starts, the poster is refunded in full to their card and the tasker is charged nothing. Repeated tasker withdrawals lower the completion rate shown on their profile, which is the only consequence.
Do you take a cut of tips?
Never. 100% of any tip goes to the tasker.
When exactly am I charged?
The poster is charged when they accept an offer. The money is held by Stripe and released to the tasker when the poster confirms the job is done, or automatically seven days after the tasker requests release if the poster does not respond.
Fees can change, and any increase is notified to taskers 30 days in advance as the Platform-to-Business Regulation requires. Referral rewards are discounts against fees, not cash. All figures include VAT where it applies.
