Privacy policy

Last updated 6 September 2026. These documents are a launch draft and should be reviewed by a solicitor.

We collect what we need to run the marketplace: account details, location (postcode), task content, messages, payment references (Stripe holds card details), verification results (never documents), and usage data. Lawful bases are contract, legal obligation (tax reporting, safety) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement). Marketing emails require your consent.

We share data with Stripe (payments and identity), our email provider, and the other party to a task once an offer is accepted (name, phone and task address). We do not sell personal data. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure with UK/EU residency where available and retained for as long as your account is active; payment records for 6 years.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. Use the account page or email privacy@taskerama.com. You may complain to the ICO.

Cookies: we use strictly necessary cookies only (session, CSRF, referral attribution for 30 days). No advertising cookies.
