What changes the price for delivery & courier

• Distance and route. Most local jobs are priced by the trip, with distance and traffic deciding the time. A cross-town run at rush hour costs more than the same miles on a quiet afternoon.
• Size and weight. Anything that fits on a car seat is quick. A piece of furniture needs a van and often a second pair of hands at the other end.
• Urgency. A drop within two hours means the driver goes now, whatever else they had planned. A same-day window is cheaper than a fixed time slot.
• Waiting and stops. Waiting at a collection point and adding extra drops on the route both add to the price. Clean Air Zone, ULEZ and congestion charges are passed on where they apply.
